My New Beginning truly changed my life and will be a part of me forever. Wendy is inviting, compassionate and knowledgeable about recovery and I felt safe and at home. The house is beautiful and has an awesome backyard. It’s a place where I was able to be surrounded by other woman and focus on my own recovery.

I was at My New Beginning for 18 months. I have to say it was really hard work but it was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. The compassion and love that the staff have for each of the women living there was amazing. I wouldn’t be where I am today with my own apartment and a relationship with my family without the experience I had there.

This was my second time being at Wendy’s house; the first time I just wasn’t ready. When I came back they welcomed me (and my little doggie) with open arms. Wendy and her staff truly care about the women living in the house and they are rare in that they are truly a dual diagnosis house – they accept women with substance use and mental health issues and understand that they need to be handled differently. Wendy also works with some of the best psychiatrists and sober coaches to make sure that everyone gets the best care.

Wendy and the staff who work at My New Beginning are the best! They care about the women who live there and go out of their way to make everyone feel important and heard!
